… is this performance by Paul Potts. I’m moved every time I watch this. This guy went from nothing to a really big something. From working in a warehouse to being a star. And it obviously wasn’t his looks that got him there like so many others.
So this past year, I’ve watched this any time I was down and thought the situation was hopeless. If Paul can do it, then we all should be able to succeed to some extent. And it doesn’t matter how you look or where you work or any of that other stuff.
Thanks to everyone for a great year, and looking forward to many more. See you next year!

thank you, too, for many interesting posts in 2007.
My year as a pig in the year of the pig hasn’t been so great, as predicted some health problems.
So I’m eager to start a new year 2008, hoping for the best for all of us.

Brilliant. What I thought was priceless too was that the audience appeared to realize that they were listening to a great talent before the judges did.

Heard an interview with Mr. Potts . . . truly humble and truly dedicated to his chosen art/craft . . . really a rare combination. And a beautiful voice. Very nice choice to remember 2007 by.

Paul Potts like thousands have become hooked on his rich voice, the humble modest demeanor of the man, and yes, it the world of celebrities is very rare, I am afraid I know of no other celebrity with a combination, and I do not see too many of his likes in the future.

Yes indeed, he was one of the biggest surprise in 2007.
