These 6 exercises are great intro to yoga and can be practiced as a warmup for other exercises of as a mini routine all on their own. They are great for waking up the whole body. I have no idea who put them together, but they work really well. They are so simple, and yet so thorough, that they make a great way to introduce your significant other to the wonders of this type of movement.
Besides the clip above, a thorough write up of the 5 Tibetans can be found here. On that page, I would like to draw particular attention to the shoulder bridge. This exercise is really helping me a lot with strengthening my lower back. I first did this in BJJ class, and I’ve since learned that adding it to my routine is a must. It opens the front of the torso as well as strengthens your lower back.
