This is one of the prettiest miao daos I’ve seen. If I had the money, I’d snap one up in a heartbeat. I’m not sure of the price, but any site that doesn’t have prices is probably out of my league.
On a related note, I’m getting a really funny feeling about the Adam Hsu miao [...]

Taiwan MA demo pt.2
October 29th, 2006 · 10 Comments · Bagua and/or xingyi
I just got back from the demonstration that I talked about here. Wow! I was really impressed by the version of Gao style bagua that I saw today. It was the lesser known branch that made it here to Taiwan, but they are definitely good. They put on a great demo that I managed to [...]

So the world cup (official site) info is up for the tournament scheduled next weekend. Even if you’re not into competing, I would HIGHLY recommend attending this event! It’s great to see everyone doing taiji, pushing hands, etc. The whole place will be devoted to the MA, and that’s a cool thing to be around.
Here [...]

One of my teachers has an excellent verison of yijin-jing that he teaches. It’s the most comprehensive qigong set that I’ve ever seen comprising 216 movements. Once you learn it, you’ll have all the qigong you’ll ever need.
Fellow student onyomi (see this thread at EF) is working as hard as he can to prepare translations [...]

This is a clip of Feng (one of my favorite taiji players, as I’m sure you can tell) doing some really cool push hands. He does quite a few push hands application, often calling them free sparring techniques. I’m not sure, really, why he called them that. They seem more like normal PH applications to [...]

So I’ve gotten some info from Orz, a new reader of the blog, that puts a whole different spin on my previous post about the fight/push hands match between CXW and Liao Bai. Let me state up front and for the record, I have NO affiliation with either one of them nor do I really [...]
